Great perspective and couldn’t agree more that there is a need for investment structures that give a solid return for businesses that can be self-sustaining, profitable and create jobs. I’ve considered working with a lawyer to design my own investment structure and offer it to Angel investors. Would be great if there were some industry standards and vehicles that would help make everyone more comfortable with this approach. Seems like it could be a win-win for many involved.
