This is an unfortunate and frustrating truth about the healthcare industry. Even figuring out if my insurance works up here is a process that leaves me skeptical. The insurance rep I spoke with said she found a loophole that allows me coverage, but I’m not quite sure I trust her word. I’ve ended up with $2k bills for services that were supposed to be free in the past.
