I think what the dude was trying to point out is that men are predisposed at birth to have a much higher mortality rate, and you basically are agreeing with him, and then telling him to STFU.

If you’re allowed to go on and on about how hard it is for women then why can’t men sob a little about how hard it is being men?

I can’t tell you how many guys, friends, I know that have contemplated suicide. When I open up and tell them my struggles, they’re like, “Oh, yeah, I was just thinking about blowing my brains out last week. You gonna eat that last slice of pizza?”

Most men become accustomed to the depression, and some even try to make light of it with humor.

The reason why Bill Burr is so popular is because so many people, especially men, can relate to him, sadly. :(
