665 the Movie!

I’ve decided to take a chance, more of a random shot in the dark, and see if I can raise sufficient funds to create a movie based on my recent book.

The odds are overwhelmingly against me, as I have a very small fan base, and no experience producing films, but here’s what I do have: passion. I have the passion, drive, to do what needs to be done. I’m not above doing grunt work on set if the director tells me to. I’m not above acting out small side characters, and even doing stunts, within reason.

And I have vision, drive, motivation. All things necessary to produce a film. Also, I have a plethora of friends that have gone to film school, worked on indie films, created short films, and edit professionally.

I set the bar high: 250k. That’s right, I’m going big or going home… or just not starting the project. But with enough funds, almost anything is possible, even creating an outstanding indie film, which will be released for free on YouTube.

I’m not so concerned about profit but simply with creating something. Every author dreams of having one of their books turned into a movie, and I’m no exception.
