And that’s exactly why I’m still single.
Everything you were saying goes both ways, in that there are so few eligible women as well.
From the perspective of a ‘Grade A’ type of guy, (whether I’m physically or financially ‘Grade A’ is debatable, but for this example I am a man that’s looking for a committed relationship,) I don’t want to date a girl that’s had a bajillion sexual partners. To me that’s disgusting. And before anyone calls me a hypocrite, I’m still waiting until marriage, hopefully, before having sex.
Guess how many girls I’ve met that share this sentiment.
I used to get uber depressed over this, but in the past year I’ve come to enjoy the simplicity of being single. Men make such a sacrifice when they get married. So many women might rant and rave about feminist independence in college, but as soon as they realize how depressing an awful job can be, a lot of them seem to jump ship and look for a husband that can financially support them.
And most of the ‘nice guys’ that I’ve met with college degrees don’t care who that woman actually is, they’re just ecstatic that a half-decent looking woman is interested in them, “FINALLY!”
Na… Pepper Jack aint playin’ that game.

Which is why, in conclusion, I’ve decided that if I can’t eventually find a princess, then I’ll marry for money and find a queen. :)
Wish me luck with either endeavor — I’m gonna need it.
