I’m not sure if there is a way, and I wouldn’t want their to be either. I like the idea that a guy I’ve met before, and watched fight before he was in the UFC, make it to the UFC. (Chris Dempsey.)
Mixed Martial Arts has become my favorite sport to watch; in fact, it’s the only sport I can actually sit down and pay attention to throughout the entire event.
Football, soccer, hockey, basketball, and baseball are all excellent supplements for me to take when I run out of sleep medicine. TBH, I don’t know how people can sit through any of those sports, unless they’re at a live event, and talk about them for hours and hours on TV and radio shows.
MMA, on the other hand, enthralls me from start to finish. My buddy will be trying to have a conversation with me, but I’m thinking in my head, “Shut the hell up, dude, the fight is on.”
I’m pretty sure that wrestling is the oldest sport ever, considering that there’s a mention of Jacob wrestling with Jesus in the book of Genesis (32:24–25). The only balls involved in MMA are the metaphorical kind, then kind that both men and women can have, if they’re so bold. I know I’m not.
