Is it Possible?

A friend asked me “I don’t think everybody can work in the direction to decrease inequality in opportunity. Can, everyone?” I can probably give a hand-wavy answer but honestly I don’t know. One of the aims of this blog is to understand the problem and to initiate a conversation. Social Problems are “our” problems and we need to work on them together. So, probably you, my reader, should also write a blog post exploring the topic. Under what conditions, it is impossible to reduce inequality of opportunity? What is the plausible limit on the equality we can reach? If everybody cannot work in the direction of equality, then is it the case that nobody can work in that direction? If there are some people who can do something then who are those people and where do we fall? And is it really a problem worth solving?
