When I was a little girl, I used to be afraid of the dark. If I had to go up to my room by myself at night I would run as fast as my little legs could carry me, returning quickly to the safety of my family in our well-lit living room. The conversations include developers who laud VR’s potential as an impactful social change agent and next-level education platform. Others fear a dystopian, real world “Matrix;” complete with a machine take over of a passive, dissociated, and fragmented human population.
