The Chilcot Inquiry. War Criminals with Immunity.

A long awaited document, the Iraq Inquiry, conducted by Lord John Chilcot was released last week to the public. It is a public inquiry discussing the UK’s role in the Iraq War of 2003. The purpose of the inquiry was to analyse the three phases of the war, namely the build up, the invasion and military action, and the aftermath. The aim was to identify key points, so the government does not repeat the same mistakes and is more equipped for similar situations in the future.
