On Becoming Anti-Bernie
Robin Alperstein

“ Sanders insinuates Clinton’s positions on Wall Street reform and other issues are driven by campaign contributions. He hasn’t pointed to and can’t point to any instance in which Clinton’s vote or action anywhere has been a result of a campaign contribution.”

You don’t get it. It’s not Bernie’s or the constituent’s or the media’s job to prove that Hillary is influenced by corporate donations. It’s her job, by virtue of her position as a public servant, to demonstrate that she is not by dispelling the PERCEPTION of being in the pocket of special interests. The easy way to do this is not take any money at all. That’s called transparency and good governance. Otherwise, people can legitimately wonder about the bias of her stance on these issues.
