Introducing the New $UNIT Token on Voi Network: Tokenomics Unveiled
As we gear up for the highly anticipated launch of the Voi Network mainnet, we are excited to announce the details of the new $UNIT token. Dorks will continue dominating the Voi ecosystem, and we are thrilled to take part in the planned meme coin event. When we take first place, we will use our booty to strengthen the project and brace our $UNIT. This revamped tokenomics is the first step in that direction, and you can be a part of this explosive growth.
Token Supply and Decimals
The original $UNIT token on the testnet had a supply of 42,069 with zero decimals. Rough. For mainnet, the new $UNIT token will boast a supply of 420,069 and include 8 decimals. This significant change — nearly a tenfold increase in supply and infinitely more decimals — ensures that even the smallest holders can participate in the Voi ecosystem.

Token Distribution
The distribution of the $UNIT token is designed to mirror the principles of fairness and community, much like the $VOI token. It’s a community driven blockchain (CDB), don’t you know. Here’s how the allocation breaks down:
25% Treasury: Reserved for the ongoing and future operational needs of the Dork Community, and advancement of generous and benevolent Lord Oof.
75% Community: This portion is dedicated to various community-centric initiatives, detailed as follows:
- 10% Early Incentives: Allocated to Voiagers who hold up to 10 Chubs and 100 $UNIT on the testnet, rewarding early adopters and loyal supporters. Holding more than this might even hurt you…
- 35% LP Pools and Staking Initiatives: These funds will support liquidity pools and staking rewards. Holders of OG Dorks and Chubs, as well as future holders of v2 Dorks, will receive weekly rewards for their participation. Unfortunately, v2 Chubs aren’t invited to mainnet. Sad.
- 10% Ecosystem Development: Aimed at fostering growth and development within the Voi and Dork ecosystem, this allocation will support projects and initiatives that enhance the network’s capabilities.
- 20% Future Growth: Reserved for future expansion and growth opportunities, ensuring that the Dorks’ presence is forever felt beneath the waves.

Funding and Rewards
The LP pools will be robustly funded with over 30,000 $VOI from the Dork wallet. Additionally, the largest portion of our funding will be vested over five years and then staked on a node to ensure sustained rewards for the community. The deadline to collect up to 100 $UNIT or $wUNIT as well as up to 10 Chubs is going to be the end of Phase 2 of test net, 16 September. Stay tuned for an exact time. Main net $UNIT drop will not be immediate. It will require careful planning and a robust LP being established.
