Haroon Ullah is a famous scholar, diplomat, and policy master with special attention on digital policy, countering powerful extremism and transmedia engagement. He has traveled with diplomat Richard Holbrooke and opening the countering violent extremism office at US Embassy.

Thereafter he was served as senior Strategy Officer at the Broadcasting Board of Governors.

The book Digital World War focuses on technology and youth in the Muslim world.
