I can’t speak for Victoria, but I know it created a better culture for modest. It allowed for us to be transparent instead of “transparent.” The difference there is the transparency would be guided by the team and not me.
But the most important thing it helped with is allowing for everyone to be on the same level during meetings. That meant that someone who is quiet has the same opportunity to contribute as someone who is loud and overwhelming (me). This allowed our culture to be built around the opportunity for *everyone* to contribute and not just who was loudest.
These ideas then spread to all aspects of Modest.
