I do think there are double standards, and our society is ageist (more towards women than men) — but I am not sure whether that adds up to hatred towards women. But I do think people are more isolated and lonely than ever before, and this probably applies to men as much as to women. We have created a life (style) where people think they should be able to have everything and be everything, and that this will make for a happy life. But the important things in life are meaningful connections with other people, and I think they are spectacularly hard to come by.
