Things didn't start out right, yet they didn't start out wrong. At one point in my childhood things were balanced. My father was absent from our home but he was around. Making himself available when he wanted to. My mother was not where she wanted to be in life but she was striving to be better. Attending college to become a nurse and still working a full time job. She even fell in love and stayed in a relationship for years. Her boyfriend was very much apart of my life.
