The Muralist & the Inspector began as a series of television scripts that I decided to novelise and share. As I was writing I had two leading men in mind, Ben Wishaw and Idris Elba. But I kept seeing Idris Elba as John Luther in my head and decided to cast Daniel Craig in my imaginary series.

Harrison Kitteridge is the author of the novel, , which is set in a not-so-distant future where government-mandated social networking has driven the detective to the brink of obsolescence. The novel explores Sherlock and John’s attempts to navigate this brave new world and their burgeoning romantic feelings for each other.
