About Harry Rosen Menswear

With sixteen menswear stores in 8 major markets of Canada, Harry Rosen claims 40% of the Canadian men’s clothes market. Harry Rosen founded the company together with his brother Lou in 1954. His eldest son, Larry Rosen, got involved in the business at a young age. As a teenager, he used to take time during summer to work as the company’s sales associate. At the moment, Larry is the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the great men’s wear chain.

Larry Rosen earned a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto and went on to further his studies in the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with a joint LLB and MBA. He then joined the corporation as a buyer and in 1997, was finally appointed President. In his new post, he oversaw the creation and growth of the company to the current 16 stores. In 2000, Larry was named the new CEO of Harry Rosen Inc. and led the company into the list of the top 50 best managed companies in Canada in 2007. As of now, the company makes more than $ 200 million dollars yearly from sales.
