I find it amazing how the act of writing something down and publishing it (thinking out loud) can help you gain perspective that is otherwise easily avoided. I totally relate to this and realise how insane it is that we do such silly things with our prioritisation!
Thanks for sharing this, there is something very powerful and liberating about honest sharing, walls start falling down and there is an opportunity to imagine and create a new landscape.

It’s crazy how scary it can feel to ask for help. What would it be like if we each asked each-other for one little bit of help every day? Small steps.
My dad and step-mum have developed a way that she can ask him for help by writing and sharing her list of “things to do” on the fridge. Then he can look at it and offer help. I guess this is what a “daily standup” at work achieves.
This really resonates with me. It feels like a common theme in these exercises and a useful mantra.
