Buying Blue Yeti Microphone

I have been recording video series on OSX Development. One of the biggest complaints is the sound quality.

How did I make the videos?

I was simply using my MacBook Air to capture the screens, and use the internal microphone to record the audio. The problem was that it records my typing sound as well. Also, I was recording mainly at night, and I didn’t want to disturb my son from sleep. I was trying to lower my sound.

Solving the problem

In order to improve the quality, I decided to move forward. It started with buying a proper microphone. As I was watching the Million Dollar Instructors online course, it suggested to use a Blue Yeti Microphone. Meanwhile, our company is creating our own podcast. Each of us is getting a microphone for that purpose.

Thus, you will be seeing me recording with the new microphone soon. With the cool shape, I will be recording my face as well.
