How /etc/hosts helped me with my productivity

Due to the lack of self control and a few addictions, my productivity at work wasn’t really that great. I always had this urge of opening facebook.com alongside my work. I didn’t know I was addicted to facebook.

But thanks to /etc/hosts, I redirected Facebook to my localhost! I was so fucking frustrated with my addiction that I had to do this and let me tell you, it has really helped me! I also got to know that my every fifth url is fb.com in the address bar which is really sad. Hope I will be cured.
