My January reading list.!

Every month i try to read a few books on weekends ; i have been doing the same for a few months now and have finished quite a lot of interesting books. This January i aim to read these books :

The Art of start by Guy Kawasaki : I had actually started reading this but never finished this. Its easily one of the best books i have ever read.

Titan: The life of John D. Rockefeller by Ron Chernow : One of the quotes that made me read the book was “I do not think that there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature.”

Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini : This is one of the must read for all the salesmen out there , persuasion is what separates brilliant salesmen from poor ones. If you really understand how to get people to say ‘Yes’ you can do a lot. Even if you are not looking to do sales this is worth a read as it will help you in your personal life too.

Letters to Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders by Warren Buffett : One of the most respected people out there that started writing letters to all the shareholders starting in 1977. If you are looking to learn effective communication this is it. There is a neat and organized bucket of all these letters hosted at Berkshire Hathaway’s website go have a look

P.S : In-case i end up finishing them ahead of time then i plan to complete Paul Graham’s Hackers and Painters. :)
