Mrs. Young~ it’s problematic because it implies that being associated with femininity is shameful for men. Sure, it’s great that he’d never call a woman a bitch, but using gendered language as an insult promotes toxic gender roles. It may not be hurting Stacey Bonet directly but it sure as hell doesn’t foster any respect for women in an industry that already has a questionable history on the subject. And it sure as hell isn’t great for all the men that end up emotionally repressed or dead because they don’t want to seem a bitch.
