Like many Belgians, Lukaku is multilingual. He can speak Flemish (native language in Belgium) Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese and English.

To top that, he apparently has an understanding of German too.

Lukaku featured in a 2010 documentary about his school ‘De School Van Lukaku’, an account of the day-to-day lives of students inside the campus. He is a famous alumni of one of Belgium’s most respected and advanced Saint-Guido Institute in Brussels.

Lukaku has netted 85 goals in the Premier League (West Brom and Everton), that’s one more than Cristiano Ronaldo managed during his time at Old Trafford.
The Lukaku has played fewer games (186) too than Ronaldo’s 196 in England.
Lukaku became only the fourth player to scored 80+ Premier League goals before the age of 24.

6- He is very confident

Lukaku was the subject of a television documentary which, in 2009, showed him touring Stamford Bridge on a school trip to London. He declared his desire to play for Chelsea then. He fulfilled the dream, but left after telling Mourinho of his wish to play regularly following his penalty shootout miss in the 2013 European Super Cup loss to Bayern Munich

5-FOOTBALL RUNS IN THE FAMILY

Jordan Lukaku, Romelu’s younger brother, plies his trade with Italian giants Lazio while their cousin, Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo, is a left-back for Rapid Vienna.

Interestingly, Lukaku’s dad, Roger Menama Lukaku, was a former professional player.

4-DIDIER DROGBA IS LUKAKU’S IDOL

Although Lukaku’s spell at Stamford Bridge was disappointing, the Belgian would have learnt a lot from training alongside, and on rare occasions, playing on pitch with the Belgian.

3-God gifted physique

Romelu Lukaku is that big he probably grew up playing with dumbbells.

Lukaku, at 6ft 3in (1.90m), has an imposing physique. “I never lift weights. My physique? It is a gift from God,” Lukaku said in a 2011 interview.

2-His mother used to take his birth certificate to youth games

Lukaku had some struggles between the ages of 12 and 14 due to his size and look. It was revealed that people watching the Belgian didn’t believe he was of the right age. According to the reports, Romelu’s mother could eventually bring her son’s birth certificate to matches to prove he was the right age.

1-Romelu Lukaku: I Watch Football For Five Hours

He would spend hours on end with another English Premier League legend — Thierry Henry — discussing, among other things, the formation of Düsseldorf.

“Thierry might be the only guy in the world who watches more football than me,” he told The Players’ Tribune. “We debate everything. We’re sitting around and having debates about German second division football.

“I’m like, ‘Thierry, have you seen the Fortuna Düsseldorf setup, though?’ He’s like, ‘Don’t be silly. Yes, of course.’ That’s the coolest thing in the world, to me.” I’m not talking about the Premier League. Not Manchester United. Not the Champions League. Not the World Cups.
