Cloud computing means the delivery of databases, applications, computational power, and other IT resources of a network System via the internet and this makes the infrastructure as software.

When compared to hardware, a traditional cloud computing Software infrastructure is flexible, quick, easy to access, and cost-effective rather it doesn’t require any physical security, staff, planning, space, etc.

Cloud Service Models

1. Iaas (Infrastructure as a Service) More control

2. Paas ( Platform as a Service)

3. Saas ( Software as a Service) Less control over the IT resources

Cloud computing deployment models describe how the information or instructions are being deployed into the network applications

1. cloud

2. hybrid

3. on-premises

AWS

1. security: Network ACL, IAM

2. network: Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon VPC

3. Compute: AMI

4. Storage & Database: Amazon EBS, Amazon EFS, Amazon S3 and Amazon RDS

There are indeed many similarities between Aws & Traditional IT space but these promote higher Quality, Time, accessibility, and productivity.

Advantages of Aws

1. Trade capital expense for variable expense
-> Data center investment based on forecast
-> Pay only for the amount you consume.

2. Benefit of Massive Economies of Scale

3. Stop Guessing capacity.

4. Increase speed and agility

5. Stop Spending money on running and maintaining data centers

6. go global in minutes.

7. Low latency and no multiple procurement cycles

A web Service is software that is available over the internet in a standard format like XML | JSON to Provide an API interaction between the user and Server through request and response.

1. Amazon EC2 is used to have complete control over the Aws Compute resources and, infrastructure.

2. Amazon Aws Lambda is used when we want to run code and not manage servers.

3. Aws Elastic Beanstalk will allow us to provision or manage Service and Scales web applications automatically.

4. Aws Light Sail is a cloud platform for web apps to launch

5. Awa Batch is used to run hundreds of batch workloads and run them reliably

6. Aws outposts is used to run Aws infrastructure in on-premises data center

If we want to implement microservices architecture we can use, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKs) Or AWS Fargate.

VMware Cloud is used to migrate on-premises Server Virtualization to Aws

Interaction with Aws

1. Aws management console (easy-to-use graphical interface)

2. Command line interface (access to Servers by commands)

3. Software development Kits (access services directly from our code).

Aws Cloud Adaption Framework (CAF)

Aws CAF defines the guidance, practices, and delivery of resources, operations, etc of an organization to build an approach to accelerate the cloud adaption for all IT Services and it constitutes:

1. People Business and governance focuses on business capabilities.

2. platform, Security, and operations focus on the technical capabilities.

-> Reduced business risk

-> Improved environmental, Social, and governance (ESG) Performance

-> Increased revenue

-> Increased operational efficiency.

Cloud Migration Journey Strategies

1. Database replication

2. Aws Snowball.

According to CAF, it can:

1. Leverage agile methods to rapidly iterate and evolve.

2. organize your teams around products and valve Streams.
