What is the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Program?

Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors is a global program empowering students to become community leaders and gain valuable skills for their future careers. Ambassadors engage in a high-learning environment through the Microsoft platforms, organizing events to uplift technical and career skills, and enhancing overall employability in their communities. In short, if you are a college student, applying for the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program is a must. It not only enhances your skills but also adds significant value to your resume.

What are the eligibility criteria?

· Be 16 years of age or older.

· Be enrolled full-time in an accredited academic institution (e.g. college or university)

What are the perks of being an MLSA?

What used to happen till 2023?

The selection process in 2024 has undergone a complete transformation from traditional methods. Previously, applicants would complete an application form on the website and respond to three questions, with two of them requiring answers of approximately 200–250 words. Additionally, a video answer was submitted. Following this, the applications are now quarterly reviewed in January, April, July, and October. If selected based on your application, an invitation to join MLSA is extended to the successful candidates.

How will you be a student ambassador in 2024?

Starting from January 2024, there’s a notable shift in the selection process — moving from a conventional application method to a streamlined registration process. Previously, your participation relied solely on your application submission, leaving the decision of selection in their hands. Now, instead of complex application questions, you’ll be prompted to answer three straightforward registration questions (e.g., “Name 3 favorite AI influencers”). A quick tip: Optimize your time by completing the form within 20 minutes, as the real process begins after this initial step.
