Disclaimer: I am the CEO and founder of SerpApi, LLC. However I’ll aim to be as fair and unbiased as possible in running these benchmarks.

We’ll be comparing SerpApi [1] vs Zenserp [2] vs Serpstack [3] vs SerpWow [4][6] vs ScaleSerp [5][6] in 3 categories: Response times, service availabilities, and quantity of data extracted to JSON.

Response times

Average response times: SerpApi vs Zenserp vs Serpstack vs SerpWow vs ScaleSerp

We get the average response times by running a batch of searches against each service. We use the exact same queries on each service on regular Google searches. Fast and consistent response times are particularly important if your application depends on real-time performance.

Service availabilities

Service availabilities: SerpApi vs Zenserp vs Serpstack vs SerpWow vs ScaleSerp
Services Availabilities (green: no downtimes, red: at least one period of downtime, black: unknow)

We get measure service availabilities using a third party service named SimpleOps. We did the measurement during a 1-week period and any downtime is reported here.

Quantity of data extracted

Average number of fields extracted to JSON: SerpApi vs Zenserp vs Serpstack vs SerpWow vs ScaleSerp

We get the average number of fields extracted to JSON by running a batch of the exact same queries against each service. This give us an idea how much data each service is capable to parse from raw HTMLs, make sense of it, and export it to JSON.
