Linux (Ubuntu) Benchmarks for Server Side Swift vs Node.js

To get a little more performance out of node.js :

  • putting the static middleware in front of the /json route means one ‘stat’ per request, to see if a /json file exists… move the static middleware after the /json route instead
  • try to run more 20 concurrent connections, node.js runs best with many concurrent connections
  • be sure to use env NODE_ENV=production when you run your benchmark: express runs much faster in production env
One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
