“The soul is the truth of who we are.” — Marianne Williamson

Have you even felt in your life that something is missing? Look closely to your life and identify what do you desire the most? What is that you keep wanting within yourself? Do you lack a sense of stability, comfort, inspiration or any other thing?

Life will flow more naturally when you learn to align with your soul. You will feel greater sense of freedom, joy, satisfaction and inner peace. However, even after how much we try to control our fear and worries, it becomes difficult to find safety and strength within us.

Here are some ways to get in touch with your soul.

Spend time with nature

Nature has a calming effect to our minds. It reminds us to slow down and soak ourselves in present moment. The beauty of nature makes us forget our worries. Therefore get friendlier to nature, take a bushwalk, take a walk on beach, lie on the grass and seize the moment.

Pray to God

Prayer is another way to connect with your soul. Prayer not only shreds unwanted thoughts, anxiety, and fear from mind but also helps in getting energized and relaxed. Take part in daily worship programs that occur in churches, for example, Harvest Churches invite worshipers and soul seeker to a 75 minutes worship experience. No matter of what race, ethnicity or culture you belong, you will always be welcomed in Church.

Give time to yourself

It is very important to give time to yourself. We have become so engrossed in our daily life, meeting the targets and ticking off to-do list that we have forgotten ourselves. Therefore, schedule a solo expedition at least once a week when you can get to know yourself in a better way. Give yourself a treat, read a book, spend some time with your hobby.

Travel

Take a new route, pack your bag and start for a new destination, book a trip anywhere around the world. Do such things, and you will get a chance to experience new places, culture, people and a lot more. Travel makes us come out of our comfort zone and usual routine. As a result, it guides our soul.

There are a lot more ways to seek your soul like indulge in something you love, offer help to others or write a soul journal. You just need to find the right ways for yourself.
