Did America Ever Really Work?
umair haque

What you described are common among all western capitalistic countries, it certainly isn’t unique in america. Capitalism, is always the unequal distribution of happiness while socialism is the equal distribution of misery. Economic growth has its own price to pay, and I say that as time goes on, whoever pays it rotates and frankly it is getting more fair as time goes on. It used to be based on the color of one’s skin, at least know it is determined by meritocracy. Unless one day we can live in a world with virtually unlimited resources and the means of extract them, we will always have to deal with the downside of humanity struggling to redistribute limited resources.
