A commitment is meant to be looked forward and not backwards, which is a no turning back pursuit.

Better late than never, but better NEVER late, said by our funny and playful, but very clever and wise math teacher in his senior during my 4th year in high school, Sir Oca. That’s how he promptly responded to students who were late and further justifies the fact of "better late than never", so leaving them (including me) closemouthed. It was a really funny respond, but very sharp and reasonable, giving us a good reason to pursue punctuality. Hence, there are a number of good reasons to why we must pursue and value punctuality besides of Sir Oca’s inspiring jest. One, for example, is time management. Time is crucial, so managing it in an effective manner can therefore helps us reach it’s potential—this can be manifested once we treat time as if it’s a treasure waiting to be recognized, in a way of us not being distracted or concealed from such instant gratification. Second reason to pursue punctuality, is this: commitment; now it’s too generic, let’s break it down—a good sign of commitment is knowing, whether it’s intuitional or impressionable that first (1), a student is highly accountable on his pursuit, which should be on top of his priorities, and second sign (2), however must have a sense of self-control and become resilient in the midst of pleasure and chaos. Both traits must exist simultaneously in order for a commitment to thrive and be able to endure the process. Without either one of it, the commitment itself would not be called, a commitment. After all, a commitment is meant to be looked forward and not backwards, which is a no turning back pursuit. It’s an expectation also that we must meet. Otherwise we would become another person that others would perceive as unfavorable, and that’s something that we should be fighting for. Better never late.
