For better or for worse we’re all living out patterns, some of which serve for our growth, others can harm ourselves and those around us.
Yoga or connection isn’t just about movement, its the practice of practicing. Practicing movement, practicing, breathing, practicing presence, practicing life.
To practice presence is to watch, observe and pay attention to what comes through us. Simply, from that place, asking the question “is this me, or is it a pattern”.
Watching that impulse or reaction pass, then watching and waiting for the next thing to cross the mind, or come up as a feeling in the body.
With time we can see the patterns and observe them without regret, knowing that with the practice of practicing presence those ridges an become smooth; edges become round, pain becomes pleasure.
