Using the OKX exchange.

OKX is a platform for convenient exchange of cryptocurrencies and tokens, which is a subsidiary of the famous OKcoin platform and is currently considered one of the most convenient for managing multiple accounts.

The main advantage for us is the ability to whitelist multiple wallets for withdrawals, as well as create sub-accounts with up to 120 different addresses for deposits. This allows you to efficiently withdraw funds from multiple accounts.

Why do you need to add wallets to the Whitelist?

The whitelist feature allows us to instantly whitelist many of our wallets for withdrawal. This speeds up the process of distributing funds between several accounts and eliminates additional checks when withdrawing to these addresses.

Why do we need subaccounts?

An important rule when multi-accounting is to avoid linking between accounts. The use of sub-accounts and different addresses for replenishment helps us to effectively solve the problem of withdrawing funds from our cartoons to the exchange.

Since OKX allows you to create up to 120 unique funding addresses, we can cover 120 of our multis and send funds from our multis to one exchange account while maintaining complete independence between them.

Initial interaction with the exchange

1 — Go to the OKX exchange, register via email, enter the received code and create a password.

2 — After a successful registration, the first step is to undergo the verification process.

3 — Choose the account type as ‘Personal Account’ and click continue.

4 — Initially, complete the basic level of verification, where you will need to provide only personal information and your residential address.

5 — Following the basic level, proceed to the advanced verification, where you’ll be required to submit photographs of documents and a selfie. After successful verification, the ‘Identity Verification’ section will appear as follows.

6 — For added security and the creation of sub-accounts, it’s essential to enable 2FA in your profile.

With this, we have completed the account creation process and can now fully engage with the exchange.

Adding Wallets to the Whitelist

The Whitelist feature is an additional security measure. By adding addresses to the whitelist, you establish a list of addresses eligible for withdrawal from the exchange without additional verification during the withdrawal process.

So, how to add multiple wallets to the whitelist:

1. Click on the ‘Assets’ tab and select the ‘Withdraw’ section.

2. Choose the withdrawal currency and select ‘On-chain’ as the withdrawal method. Then click ‘Next.

3. On the next page, click on the book icon. This opens the address book where we can add wallets.

4. On the opened page, click the ‘Add Address’ button.

5. A window will appear where you need to add wallets and set the necessary parameters. Be sure to check the boxes, as shown in the screenshot, selecting: “Save as a unique address” under the “USDT” output network and “Save address as a test” under “Add address”.

At once, you can add 20 wallets for one network. To add multiple wallets, click ‘+ Add Address.’ Naming the wallets is optional. After adding the desired number of addresses, click the ‘Save’ button.

6. Then a window will appear where you need to enter the confirmation code from your email and 2FA to save the wallets.

7. After confirmation, you’ll see a list of wallets added to the whitelist.

All set!
We’ve added wallets to the Whitelist, marking them as verified to skip additional checks when withdrawing to these addresses.

Creating Sub-Accounts and Deposit Addresses

Sub-Account — an individual account created within the main account on the exchange.

What to Know About Sub-Accounts on OKX Exchange?
One OKX account allows the creation of 5 sub-accounts in addition to the main profile.

One OKX account enables us to generate up to 20 different deposit addresses.

In total, we can create up to 120 distinct deposit addresses (20 addresses for the main account and 100 addresses combined across 5 sub-accounts).

Creating Sub-Accounts

1. Hover over the profile and navigate to the “Sub-Accounts” section on the home page.

2. Click “+Create Sub-Account”.

3. Fill in all fields on the opened page.

Login — invent a name for the sub-account.
Password — create a password that meets the requirements.
Account Type — choose “Standard Account.”
Ensure to enable the
Deposit option.

4. Click “Create”. A window will appear, confirming the creation, and you’ll need to confirm with a 2FA code.

5. After confirmation, the account will be created. In the “Switchable” column, be sure to enable the switch for each sub-account.

6. This way, we create 4 more accounts. In total, we’ll have 5 sub-accounts. Verify that the switch function is enabled everywhere.

7. Now, when hovering over the profile, you’ll have the option to switch accounts. This is how you can navigate between accounts.

8. After clicking “Switch Account” a list of all accounts will appear. Choose, for example, the first account and click “Switch”.

9. A sub-account will open. Hover over “Assets” and select “My Assets”.

10. In the opened window, click “Deposit”. Choose the currency and network. Then click “Next”.

11. In the opened window, click on the address book.

12. Click “Add Address” and add new addresses until you reach the limit of 20 addresses.

Thus, we have created 20 different deposit addresses on one sub-account.

💡 These addresses will be available not only for depositing the initially selected currency and network but also for supporting deposits of other assets in the same network and deposits in other EVM networks, for example.
❗However, for security, it is advisable to check the deposit address for each specific currency before each deposit.❗

For convenience, we can also copy all addresses and write them down, for example, in a separate table.

IMPORTANT! Remember that from one of our multis, we can only send money to one selected deposit address of a sub-account. Therefore, to remember from which multi to which address and sub-account we are sending money, it is worth creating a separate file where we will record all this.

Create 20 different deposit addresses for each sub-account. In the end, we will have 100 different deposit addresses.
Don’t forget that on the main account, we can similarly create 20 deposit addresses.

Transferring Funds from Sub-Accounts to the Main Account

All deposits made to sub-accounts will remain there. We need to transfer funds from all sub-accounts to the main account.

  1. Hover over the profile icon and navigate to the “Sub-Accounts” section on the home page.
  2. Choose the sub-account from which you want to transfer funds to the main account and click the “Transfer” button.
  3. In the opened window, select the currency you want to transfer to the main account. Move the slider between accounts to switch from where to transfer and where to. Click “Transfer Maximum” and the “Confirm” button.

As a result, we can transfer any assets between accounts without any fees.
