Eat that Frog with a Pomodoro
There is no doubt that distractions grab our attentions completely. To get rid of distractions is uphill task. The Promodoro Technique was an interesting challenge to me as my working style is undisciplined.
To get things in line, I downloaded an app Called ‘’Focus keeper’’, on which I put a timer with a buzz sound and tried to read the book attentively. I divided my book portions in 4 cycles, each consisting of 25 minutes.

In first iteration, I was get distracted by number of things. The phone rang, Random thoughts of non-essential to do list, from where I will repair my laptop, on which date next season of Prison break is releasing, Hangout ideas. The stamina went on l decreasing with every passing minute.
For 5 minutes, I rewarded myself with a cup of tea.
In net iteration, I was complacent to turn 25 minutes more productively than the first one as many of random thoughts of first iteration did not happen in this iteration. Mind was more receptive this time as it has been programmed to stay focused.
Third and fourth iterations went smooth, even i skipped one break of 5 minutes.

My takeaways:
This Technique helped me to exclude unnecessary thoughts and distractions periodically in each iterations. Promdore technique intelligently recomposes mind to achieve the desired tasks by the 25 minutes cycles.
The deadlines of 25 minutes did a wonder for me. It created a time constrained environment for me. This helped me not to prolong the study for the sake of study.
