A perspective that is often ignored.

This article brings to light a very important aspect about LGBTQ rights that are neglected in almost every discussion concerning the topic.

The way they perceive sexuality can be very much different from how straight people perceive it. Also, the amount of social acceptance and material benefits they gain by conforming to an ancient practice that is not necessarily based in love is minimal.

We need to think from the perspective of the vast sections of LGBTQ community before doing something that we believe will be useful to them. Or else the efforts may go futile, if not harming their interests.
