I know…

You don’t have time to go through the same tips that everyone is telling.

I know…

You need something new. Something better. Something practically creative.

Or maybe, workable.

So, I stumbled upon a few methods, I thought, they’re worth sharing.

Because

You might think, they’re simple. Doable. But, why didn’t I think that way?

Alright.

What we’re doing here is, I’m going to share 6 ways to bring visitors back to your website. Now, this would definitely need some explanation from my side to help you understand what the ideas really are or how you can practically do that.

So.

This isn’t the end of the world.

I planned this article because I wanted to help. If this doesn’t work, at least, you’ll find a way of thinking beyond the norms, and once you start doing that, you’ll be scratching every tunnel that comes your way.

1. Create PDF E-books

PDF ebooks is a great way of delivering a dose of real knowledge and expertise that you have. The idea behind a video tutorial or a PDF e-book is pretty much the same. When experts create a video tutorial for YouTube in order to gain the attention of the prospects, they try to maximize the VALUE in it, what happens is, when people find it helpful, they rush to join the creators to get more from them. The blogging experts and affiliate marketing fanatics use PDF ebooks as opt-in bribes for email list building as well as getting subscribes for a certain blog. The idea behind creating PDF ebooks is quite similar, you manage to create a string between the visitor and your website when they download the PDF from your website. Now it all depends on the quality of content and engagement strategies that you’ve put into the e-book. You can use Canva tool to create PDF ebooks, whereas this Free Ebook Cover generator will help you design the e-book cover.

2. Facebook Retargeting

Facebook retargeting is a huge advertising factor to bring back visitors to the website. In Facebook retargeting, we remarket our brand to the audience that has visited our website. It begins with the Facebook Pixel, a small code from Facebook to be inserted into your website code to help Facebook identify the visitors. Later on, once it’s been installed and you choose your created pixel that will help Facebook identify the audience to show your ads to. It’s a fantastic way to bring visitors back to your website, especially if you’re selling online products or you’ve just created a new offer. Remember, it works with Facebook Ads, meaning you’ll be advertising in order to retarget the audience.

3. Arrange an Attractive Giveaway

Offers, discounts, and giveaways do work especially when it comes to grabbing the attention of the audience. Setting up a giveaway and offering something incredible whether a digital product, a subscription or a worthwhile gift hamper for the audience could trigger the interest. You can set up a nicely designed landing page with your page builder tool. I recently built one using the Divi theme. Check out the landing page for an ebook on personal website building. It helped me bring old subscribers back to my blog. In fact, I got another way to attract new readers. So, clearly, giveaways are helpful when you create a suitable offer for the audience. An expensive product won’t do the wonders if that is not related to your audience, so, it’s extremely important to work on that part too.

4. Use the Power of Discussion

The engagement does work when you’re talking solutions. People want value. The lesson I learned in the past few years is that you don’t need another string to pull the audience if you’re delivering VALUE to them. I never turn my back to the influencers that helped me understand the game. This will likely to happen towards my readers as well. When I came to know about the Disqus, and of course, kept an eye on the platform, I observed a slight change in the platform as it turned out to be more of an engagement channel rather than just a commenting system for blogs and websites. Once you participate in the discussion or let’s say comment under the blog post (which has Disqus commenting system installed), you get notified when someone else’s comment comes in. In fact, Disqus will update you after a few days about the engagement that’s happening around your Disqus network. It’s more a recommendation to jump on to the discussion that might be of your interest. They call it ‘Disqus Digests’. It’s not limited to this platform. You can use any alternative or just a random commenting system in WordPress. Comment Mail is a WordPress plugin to help your readers subscribe to the comments.

5. Weekly Social Media Agenda

It’s a bit of new thing or a different one, to say the least. Trying something new is always tricky, but hitting the stereotypes even could do wonders for you. Social media is essentially important for any website, blog, or a brand. A weekly social media agenda in terms of a twitter chat, blab session, or a Periscope live stream could be a way to discuss a particular topic as well as point out any new blog post that has been published on the blog. All these are just the platforms to get involved and start engaging people. Don’t forget the mission and that is to bring visitors back to your website, which means you have to deliver something helpful by mentioning either a new blog post or an update that is available on your blog/website for the audience. So that they get back to the site once again. As far as notifying the audience is concerned, you can use all social media channels and give them a shout out via newsletter. Once the schedule is set, a couple of shout outs every single week will help develop a certain mind-frame of the audience.

6. Segmented Recommendation

This is quite a technical thing but certainly worth a read. Now, the segmented recommendation means you tend to choose a certain audience from a larger group of subscribers or followers that you have. Now, before choosing, you have to make sure that you build one. I suppose, you have done. Let’s say, you build an email list of your existing customers and prospective customers, make two different groups in order to differentiate among them (if you’re using Mailchimp, you’d know this). Once you create a discount offer, you can just simply send it to the prospective customers segment. Similarly, you can manage a number of twitter lists to get engaged with the relevant or like-minded people on the twitter. This could bring your visitors back to your website.

Your Part

Look, there are like hundreds of options more to bring visitors back to your website. Every option doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why entrepreneurs, internet marketers, and bloggers try out and pick that work for them.

I wanted to share a few with you. The brands and entrepreneurs keep on trying methods of keeping current visitors engaged and adding up new ones.

So, would you like to bring people back to your site?

If you haven’t started building your personal blog, website, or a business website, it’s a shame, because it might take a few minutes to set it up and probably a couple hours to completely finalize your personal website.
