After reached to Airbnb apartment, we got fresh and went to checkout local grocery store Bónus Reykjavík. You will find every thing we can find in America but they are 3 or 4 dollars more. We bought necessary grocery for two days and got N1 card.

We woke up at 8 am and drove around Golden Circle. We covered Gullfoss waterfall, Thingvellir National Park rift valley, Geysir Hot Spring Area, and Strokkur. Golden Circle coveres about 300 kilometres (190 mi) looping from Reykjavík into the southern uplands of Iceland and back. Golden Circle covers many beautiful landmarks in a short period of time. Our first stop was Þingvellir National Park where we walked about one mile to explore rocks and history of pigvellir. This site is located east of Reykjavík. The site of Iceland’s parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. On the site are the Þingvellir Church and the ruins of old stone shelters. From Þingvellir National Park, we drove to Godafoss falls, Gullfoss Waterfall and Kerið Crater Lake. Human two eyes are not enough to cover whole Godafoss and Gullfoss Waterfalls. One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen in my life.

Day 9: Reykjavík and Blue Lagoon
Blue Lagoon was a best place to relax after 9 days of adventure on ring road.
Thanks to my friend who came with me to fulfill one of my wishlist. I always wanted to travel to one country and explore from end to end. Iceland is a best destination when it comes to safety and exploring nature. Iceland nature is unpredictably beautiful with water falls, glacier, geysers, and green mossy lava volcanic landscape. Last but not least, don’t forget to buy Traditional Icelandic Chocolate before leaving Iceland.
