UGC publishes guidelines for opening colleges, universities and other educational institutions run by the central government. Due to the Corona epidemic, all educational institutions have been closed since last March. However, the UGC said that guidelines for opening colleges, universities and other educational institutions of the state government will be issued by the state government's education department.

UGC's guidelines state that although there are guidelines for opening higher education institutions run by the central government, the educational institutions will take care of the security advantages and disadvantages of the students. Although there are guidelines for opening universities and colleges, the authorities may change the plan periodically. At the same time hygiene and social distance must be maintained. Students and teachers must obey masks and other safety rules. Students and teachers of ‘Containment Zone’ are not allowed to come and go. ‘Final year’ students and placement students may be allowed to come to the educational institution as per the instructions of the educational institution.

Moreover, due to the problem related to 'International visa', foreign students are not able to join the educational institution. So the authorities have to plan in advance to take alternative measures for their class. Students will not be allowed to enter the room without separating each seat and room in the hostel.

The authorities will have to take measures like disinfectant, health of the students, identification of the infected, screening etc. on the campus.
