Fake Eyelashes

False eyelashes are a fun and easy method to give your natural lashes more length and volume. False eyelashes are used by celebrities, stage performers, and every day “civilians” to give their eyes a more dramatic pop. Although most artificial eyelashes may be worn several times, the lash adhesive and eye makeup might make them unclean. But don’t worry; washing artificial eyelashes is simple and effective.

In a small plastic container, mix 1 teaspoon liquid soap or shampoo with 1/4 cup lukewarm water. To combine the soap and water, shake the container. Fill a small basin halfway with soapy water. Allow 15 to 20 seconds for the dirty artificial eyelashes to soak in the lukewarm water solution.

Take the artificial eyelashes out of the water solution. Remove the adhesive residue and eye makeup with your fingertips. Under running water, clean the eyelashes completely. To demonstrate that the lashes have been adequately cleaned, the water streaming off them should be clear.

Allow for air drying of the artificial eyelashes by placing them on a piece of paper towel. If you want them to dry quickly, do the following. To absorb excess moisture, gently press the paper towel on the wet lashes.

Tip

Eye makeup remover may also be used to clean fake eyelashes, especially if they have been coated with waterproof mascara.

Straightening bent artificial eyelashes save money and time compared to buying a new set. When repairing artificial eyelashes, you must be cautious since they are delicate and individual eyelashes flake off quickly.

False Eyelashes That Have Bent

With your thumb and forefinger, grab the root of the eyelashes, where the glue is placed and the eyelash meets your eyelid. If your hands are too big, grip the tweezers between your thumb and fingers to grab either end of the eyelash.

Pull the ends of your eyelashes apart gently while sliding your hands horizontally, parallel to the floor. Stop immediately if the eyelashes begin to tear and re-grip the eyelashes above the tear line. Most likely, you’ll be able to wear eyelashes as long as the rip isn’t too deep and doesn’t extend far enough to destroy the adhesive. The presence of tweezers in the case is very beneficial.

The sticky side of the straightened eyelash should face the ceiling. Wipe the eyelash with a moist, heated towel. This acts as an “iron,” straightening the eyelash.

If the eyelash glue is damaged by the hot cloth, you may need to add a little extra adhesive before putting the eyelashes.
