Your Name: Catherine Ha

Videographer’s Name: Katelyn Yliniemi

Point: What is the “point” of this digital story? Try to capture it in one phrase or one sentence if you can.

(point of view is “defining the specific realization” the videographer is attempting to share in this digital story)

Your whole life changed for the better since the acceptance to the U and every decision you make counts towards your future.

Dramatic Question: Is there a dramatic question? If so, what is it?

(dramatic questions create a tension that keeps people’s attention throughout a story)

Emotion: Were you, the viewer, emotionally engaged? When? How did that moment(s) make you feel?

I was engaged when you mentioned the wait for getting the acceptance letter knowing that not many get accepted. It's relatable, I felt that way too!

Voice: What were your impressions of the videographer’s voice? (consider rhythm, pacing, tone, etc.)

Considering the background music as well, your voice and the music combonation makes you sound upbeat. The pacing of your voice is fine.

Soundtrack: Describe the soundtrack. Was it appropriate for the story? Do you have other recommendations?

Yes, they're appropriate. I recommend adjusting the soundtrack volumes; around the beginning, the soundtrack can be louder since you're loud and clear, but towards the end, the soundtrack became a little too loud for me to hear your voice without the music getting in the way.

Economy: Describe the images that you saw. Was anything missing? Does anything need to be added (consider the assignment guidelines here as well)?

Nothing seems to be missing. I liked the variety of pictures you used; from pictures of you to the U.

Pacing: Describe the pacing of the story; does it work in this instance? Do you think some sections need to breathe?

I think your pacing is good.

Additional comments:

I hope you continue to keep the positivity no matter what obstacles you faced. I look forward to your final video.
