The merits of Basic Income are a red herring. Even if everyone agreed on the fundamentals, the administration of this plan will ultimately lead to complete dependency on the state and payments will be used as a form of control.

Why is this conversation being pushed right now? Are there daily reports of jobs being eliminated by the thousands? No. Technology and automation may or may not displace a large number of workers in the future. But what is happening now? This idea of Basic Income coincides with negative interest rates and the push to eliminate cash.

The elimination of cash is needed so that Central Banks can maintain negative interest rates. No cash, no bank runs. It’s state confiscation of savings, it’s state surveillance, and it’s complete government control. It’s an efficient way to hunt for taxes. Surely people would resist if they saw this coming, right? Not if it’s dressed up as something shiny called “free money” or… “Basic Income.” It’s an old concept that’s been resurrected to convince the masses to transition to digital only.

What does a cashless society look like?

In Sweden:
1. Negative interest rates
2. Forced banking with fees
3. No cash withdraws
4. Stores refuse cash

Anybody with cash is seen as a criminal. Even this 91yo woman who saved her entire life, refusing to even “splurge” on a new hearing-aid.
And it was all taken from her.
