Cooking up Success in Uttoxeter

Emma’s Cookshop, 14–16 Carter Street, Uttoxeter is celebrating 15 years in business on Monday 16th October. The shop, located in the heart of the town, has been providing the local community with a range of cooking equipment and gadgets since it was established in 2002.

Karen Fallon, owner, is always on hand to provide advice and guidance on the latest kitchen utensil and answering cooking questions from visitors to the shop. Cooking can be fun for all the family and a great way of sharing good food, so having the right cookware or gadget can help make cooking easier and enjoyable.

Cooking demonstrations are a good way that Karen has been able to connect with customers and help them in improving or developing new cooking skills and something that Karen has hosted over the years and plans to do again in the future.

Over the last 15 years Karen has seen a change in the style and type of cooking that her customers are trying, an interest and upturn in home baking and bread making through to how to plan ahead and organize mid-week meals for the family to enjoy as they arrive home from school and work.

Karen Fallon says of her 15-year of business “Uttoxeter is a very special town, there is a really good community spirit and I love having my business, Emma’s Cookshop, right in the heart of the local community”.
