Nursing Home Project

As of right now our toy is on hold. We have a working and finished prototype. We are working with a patent attorney that is willing to give us a patent on the toy probono. After we have this in the process we are then able to start talking about the toy and can post pictures of it. We are excited about this process so that we can start to spread the word.

As for right now, I am working with two different students and we have started a new, small project. We know that elderly in the nursing tend to not get a lot of attention around the holidays. So we wanted to change this, or at least bring a smile to their face and let them know that we are thinking about them. We have decided that we wanted to put together a gift bag for each guest in the nursing home. We have about three different nursing homes in Noblesville, Indiana that we are going to work with. In the gift bag we are going to give them candy, cookies, rice krispe treats, and any other sweets that we make. After we hand them all out we are then hoping to spend some time with them, and do any activities that they lie to do, (play cards, read, paint nails, etc.) We are hoping to bring a smile to their face for these holidays.

We are hoping to find some little kids, or contact some elementrary schools that would be willing to have their students possibly make some homemade holiday cards that we can attach to the gift bags. We thought that they would enjoy some homemade cards.

If you know any little kids, elementary school classes, or anyone in general that would like to make cards please let me know!

Also if you would like to contribute to the gift bags let me know as well! We would love all the help that we an get!
