Reading made me a better writer!

It all started with small storybooks my father used to buy for me during my childhood days. I just needed to tell him which book and the very same book would arrive at my study table before I woke up.

My book racks are now filled with books that my father used to bring me when he was alive. Until his death, I had almost a cupboard filled with books from authors all around the world. Most of the writers were from the 19s and 18s. No doubt that books of these times are real treasures, my father used to say.

I wouldn’t have been a writer if I weren’t a reader. Many ask, “How to become a better writer?”

Just answer a simple question, “How much time do you devote to reading? Your reading habits will tell you everything.”

I really don’t have anything to share much today. No “How to make money from ebooks” type of articles.

But I would share some very good advice that made me what I am today.

Apart from the famous, Think and Grow Rich, Who Moved My Cheese, and Secret, here are some of my fav. books —

  1. Rich Dad Poor Dad — This book I bought this from a college friend of mine. she was very much into finance books. Never loved reading anything apart from fiction at that age but she somehow convinced me that the book was worth reading. And it was..
  2. The Richest Man in Babylon — The book is very much famous but not many people in today’s generation have read this. I would strongly advise you to read this book. You’ll know that earning $10k per month is not the only way to become rich.
  3. Think Like a Monk — This book is a new collection from my cousin’s library. He bought this book recently (along with Ikigai). I am yet to finish this book. But the first few chapters are definitely going to blow your mind!
  4. The Secret — I am not into manifestation much. being practical it makes me very difficult to think of something to be achieved by doing less and being more… aware (if I put it correctly). But this book has taught me one thing that I needed the most — be positive in all situations. I have been a negative type of person for a very long time and it affected my health and also my career.
  5. Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life — Got this book recently from Amazon. I am yet to complete this. But for now, all I can say is that the book is amazing so far. It’s very hard to put into a few words. Will write a small review soon.

I’ll end this here. These are some of my top articles in case you are looking for how to make money online —
