We are living in a digital world. Everything is getting digitalized — our library, school system, education, business, marketing, etc.
There was a time when people used to travel from one place to another to earn a livelihood. But that’s not relevant at this time anymore!
If you want to sell your products to the US audience, you don’t have to travel to the US for that!
If you think that the UK is best for your business, you don’t have to suddenly pack your bags and shift to another part of the world!
Just get online and sell your products DIRECTLY to your audience! No matter where they reside!
Above that, get paid within a week!
Digital products over physical products
Now with physical products, it can be a little difficult. I have a music store and have to depend on others to deliver the products to my customers.
But that’s not the case with digital products. Sell on platforms like Gumroad, Payhip, Patreon, or even your website. If you have already self-published a book on Amazon KDP then you can also publish over Gumroad and get paid directly from your readers.
There are no limits. And of course, there are no rules! You are the boss!
There are many products to choose from
If you go to the Gumroad website then there are so many options you can sell online.
The same is true for any other platform out there. Only for the newsletter. Gumroad is the only platform I have found where you can start with a $0 investment.
Once you have the product ready then promote them on social media platforms like Medium.
Focus on one type for better results
You may not be able to sell everything. There are so many options when it comes to selling digital products. You choose the one that you can create yourself. This way, you can ensure the quality of the products and help gain the trust of your buyers.
I find ebooks and Google Sheets templates a better option. I use Google Sheets to schedule my entire day and to track my finances.
You can go for the newsletter if those options don’t match your interest. Start a free newsletter or a paid one, doesn’t matter. But for better success and more money — choose one product type and stick to it. Because creating products requires skills.
You don’t have to be GOOD at making all types of products.
You should be an EXPERT in creating a few.
