I never thought i would see SJW regressive in my country especially because how heavily religion oriented this country works, i guess i was wrong.

Ok, let me start up by saying that rape culture DOESNT exists in Indonesia, well maybe in aceh but that’s a whole story on its own [since it’s literally our own little iran/Palestine]. People in Indonesia are NOT encouraged to rape women, rape isnt being used as a war tools just like in kongo / african country, there are no things like “taharrush” which is a ritual to sexually assault women in egypt anywhere near in indonesia. Rape is a crime in Indonesia, it’s frowned upon and the suspects will be punished, unlike in certain country where women who got raped will be the one who is punished.

So stop fearmongering and trying to incite hysteria.

I’m saying this in terms of indonesia as a general, there are some part of indonesia such as aceh which use “shariah law” [if you really want to fight patriarchy and oppression of women, target that, seriously]

I’m sorry to hear that you have been sexually assaulted, but that doesnt justify fear mongering trying to incite hysteria.

As a positive note, i agree on some of your point like a better Sex Ed and more punishment for rapist. But dont forget “innocent until proven guilty” because i dont want a fake rape hysteria that happened in US to be happening in Indonesia too, jacky UVA rape which is proven false, mattress girl, duke lacrosse case, and how rape accusation is now being used as a weapon to destroy someone’s life.

One more thing, rape have a specific meaning, sexual assault also have specific meaning, Always keep that in mind. 3rd wave feminism is literally a cancer in US because they broaden the meaning of rape to also include invitation and even flirting as a rape, that’s how they landed on 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 women in US has been raped which is a ridiculous claim. US feminist also have added things like mansplaning,manspreading and safe space which only isolate the victims to real world and i dont want that idiocy happening too in indonesia.
