I publish this now because more than ever, every single business needs our support to help them get through the economic downfall we are experiencing due to Coronavirus outbreak. Like each year, I wanted to bring some new and gorgeous Coliving spaces to the limelight who are entering this industry.
Some economic and social factors have lead to the rise in Coliving spaces together with major investments. We expect Coliving spaces in the U.S to triple their capacity to 10,000 units according to a report by Cushman & Wakefield. At the same time, in Europe we are seeing some large Coliving companies get bigger and more rural Coliving spaces offering remote workers and teams a chance to escape from cities.
Here are the highlights of Coliving spaces of 2020:

At the heart of this coliving space is community. A non-profit status allows them to be selective with the community. Not only is the community exclusive, the space is also run by few residents who are local to the region. You can imagine walking into this space and immediately feeling like you’re part of a family.
5. Melnica Space

Probably one of the most unique space I have heard about this year. Built on a former mill on soviet farm in Russia, this space looks right out of a movie. They’ve gone beyond coliving and coworking by including “cocreating” and “cohabiting” as part of their core value. This is a transformational space for any group or team that wants to explore the suburbs of Moscow.
6. CASA D’ARIA
Where: Catania, Italy
How much: from €177 p.w
Internet Speed: 200 Mbps
Capacity: 17 persons
Closest Airport: Catania Fontanarossa (CTA), 20 mins
Specialty: Traditional Italian housing
The southern part of Italy, Sicily, is known for sun, good food and extremely friendly locals — so why not add a traditional Italian-architect-perfected coliving to it? Right in the middle of restaurants, local markets and beach life. With various room types — from one-bed apartment to same sex dormitories, this acts as a perfect landing pad to explore Catania. Bella Vita!
I love how much “flavor” there is in this list. I am so mesmerized by all these spaces and cannot wait to check them out myself. All these spaces need our utmost support since they recently launched and have to already face the blow of the pandemic. I do believe coliving spaces will come out of this even stronger as more people would want to surround themselves in a community of like-minded individuals.
While some coliving spaces cannot open their doors, they are opening their hearts to you. Stay home and stay safe.
