Inertia
Newton’s first law of motion states roughly the following:
An object will not change its motion unless a force acts upon it.
I find it really interesting how this law surpasses its boundaries and applies to our lives and emotions.

As human beings we are very resistive to changes, we get used to our everyday lives, we get used to our relationships, we get used to life as it is presented to us.
Why does this happen? Are we so scared of embracing new possibilities that we conform to a mediocre life?
There are two consequences we can derive from Newton’s law:
- An object that is at rest will stay at rest unless a force acts upon it.
This means that unless we take action to change the aspects we dislike about our lives, nothing will change. We need to look inwards and figure out ourselves so we can change what we don’t like.
2. An object that is in motion will not change its velocity unless a force acts upon it.
After we have settled on a path, which may have sounded like a great idea at first, we often don’t stop to think how that choice turned out. As this happens we continue to pursue false goals that won’t fulfill us when achieved.
I hope everyone can take a moment to figure out what changes need to be made to our lives and to reevaluate the path we have chosen. Life is too short to tread any path that is not our own’s.
