Boycott Facebook — at least partly — for now.

While I am limiting my FB time (and the “attention” they can resell to advertisers) to no more than 5 minutes a day (until they have a reasonably effective solution to the spread of fake news) I am taking the following steps, which I urge others to follow.

Step 1: compose messages and posts off-line and paste them into status or comments (as I am doing here).

Step 2: load your browser bar with links to alternative sources. Let them get your eyeball/attention dollars.
