Dear Hdac Technology supporters,
HYUNDAI PAY and Busan, affiliated companies of Hdac Technology, signed MOU on February 12, 2019.
Busan is putting a lot of effort into boosting FinTech industry, which is the driving force in the 4th industrial revolution.
Busan is planning to make Busan into an international smart city for innovation growth. Also, HYUNDAI PAY is planning to foster Blockchain and FinTech industries, such as safe and convenient FinTech service based on Blockchain platform ‘Hdac’ and establish infrastructure for smart city.

Busan has a plan to implement robots, smart energy, and AI in the country’s first national smart city test-bed called ‘Eco Delta City.’
Moreover, Busan will develop distinctive districts such as a maritime smart city, a financial hub of Northeast Asia, and a leading zone of the 4th industrial revolution, to promote Busan as an international city brand.
To invigorate Blockchain and FinTech industries, the city of Busan is not only going to give administrative and financial support but also put efforts on various solutions such as pushing forward public-private cooperative businesses and securing public demand.
With these institutional supports, HYUNDAI PAY is going to contribute to the growth of the ICT industry in Busan area through mutual growth businesses with related start-ups.
Smart City and HYUNDAI PAY
To reform an existing city into a smart city with cutting-edge technologies, the convergence of IoT, AI, and big data is necessary.
‘Connectivity’ and ‘data’ are the main values of IoT, one of the main technologies of Hdac Technology, and which is also one of the core technologies needed for a smart city. These values can only be realized through an open software platform that allows organic access to information of each device.
As HYUNDAI PAY has entered into an MOU thanks to Hdac blockchain based platform, the company will provide its technology and safe services to smart city projects not only in Busan but also in other cities.
Hdac Technology will become the leader of the 4th industrial revolution by covering all the core technologies and services of the era and providing those to the government and other enterprises.
In addition, starting from Busan, we will show our advanced technologies in diverse ways such as through collaborations with financial institutions and establishments of financial hubs and smart cities.
On February 13th, Hdac Technology attended ‘Smart City Innovation Strategy Conference’ hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in Bexco, Busan.
We will try our best to provide services that suits the strong determination of the government to lead innovation through smart city projects.
