Linda, i’m not sure. Think about the latest cancer treatments, which cure some, and do nothing for others. There are differences between us virtually no one is aware of.

Most of the comments on this piece were about the PC culture on US college campuses which has led to an environment where scientists practically apologize when they find m/f differences, because the default political position is that there are no differences. The former president of Harvard University lost his job because he publicly suggested there might be differences.

Even for this study, they never intended to look for different responses, but they included the sex of the subject because many of the records they reviewed were for Autistic children. If that weren’t the case, the study would have ignored differences based on sex. How any objective cognitive study could be approved, funded, and conducted without considering possible differences based on the sex of the subject raises serious questions about scientific research in a PC environment.
